It is important that patients receive results of all investigations, therefore before you leave the surgery, you should agree some arrangement for getting these results e.g. a follow-up appointment or to contact the surgery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Generally, we do not contact patients unless their results are abnormal and require some action before their next appointment. However, occasionally results are delayed or even get lost, therefore it is wise not to presume that \u201cno news is good news\u201d.
